Lip-Syncing

Due to the unavailability of Tired Angels and their frontman, we decided that I would play the part of the lead singer and guitarist, therefore in order to prepare for the filming of my lip syncing Lara and Molly filmed me singing 'Call and Gone' so that I could get some practise at lip-syncing and have a look at what parts I was struggling more. This was my first proper attempt at singing the song word for word, which highlighted the fact I need to get a sturdier grip of the actual lyrics, specifically the chorus where I kept mixing up the timing of 'put me in the silence' and 'this absence is so sincere.' It also showed me that I needed more preparation concerning the longer words that he sings such as when he sings the names of the angels 'Gabriel' and 'Michael.' However I was able to discover techniques online for holding longer notes, such as singing from my stomach more opposed to my throat.
