Narrative Videos: Narrative videos aim to tell a story that may or may not be relevant to the songs lyrics opposed to simply showing the band performing. Pearl Jam's 1992 hit 'Jeremy' is a perfect example of a successful narrative music video. It tells the story of the lyrics, about a troubled child in school who doesn't receive attention from his classmates or parents, it is also based on a true school shooting that Vedder read about in 1991.
