Performance Videos:

The most common type of music videos that are usually either a compilation of different tours and concerts or one single concert that his been filmed especially for the music video. An example of a typical performance music video would be Nirvana's 'Lithium' which is compiled of many different performances but mainly taking footage from their 1991 performances at Paramount and Reading festival. The primary goal of this type of music video is to give the viewer an idea of the live experience the band provides and therefore get viewers to buy concert tickets.
