Ideas for Music Video: Part 2

Following another discussion with the lead singer and songwriter for Tired Angels, as a group we now have a better understanding of the lyrics of the song and how they can be utilised in the music video. To summarise, the song is about someone who has returned home to their house to discover that their parent has died of an overdose, hence the lyrics 'This absence is so sincere.'


Through understanding the lyrics we have devised another idea that may be a possibility for our music video. The idea is that of a girl searching through an old abandoned house which she formally inhabited with her father, whilst touching and seeing things that trigger flashbacks to memories with her father when they lived together in the house. We have also established some possible shot ideas for video, such as the girl staring in the mirror and then a flashback or her and her father staring in the mirror. We have also decided that we want some sort of performance in our video that will accompany the lip-syncing.
